EOS Europe have awarded a contract for managing Competence Assurance to Texo Compliance utilising their innovative cloud-based Competence Assurance Management System ‘Minerva’. ‘Minerva’ allows staff and contractor competence to be tracked regardless of what customer locations EOS Europe’ personnel operate in.
George ‘Macleod, Managing Director of EOS Europe said, “After having worked through the demonstration and pilot trail on an off-shore MODU EOS saw this as the solution to improving the competence management of both our staff and contractors in an extremely efficient and cost effective manner” in addition George, said “this system has minimized the impact of competence assurance on day-to-day operational activities but has maximized both knowledge capture and development of our people”.
EOS Europe were looking for a competence assurance system that would allow them to track competence not only in the UK/UKCS but internationally and what drew them to the ‘Minerva’ system was that by using Zone 1 Ex Rated equipment to video capture remote assessments and ‘Live-link’ technology such as EX IPADs and android devices assessments and evidence gathering being so much simpler.
