EOS Europe was recently awarded a contract to upgrade a client’s traditional, paper-based Ex inspection and repair system – covering both hazardous and safe areas – to a fully digital solution. This transformation was delivered through our partnership with a specialist provider of bespoke data management systems, utilising cutting-edge software, Ex-rated industrial handheld PDAs, and RFID technology.
The implementation of EOS Europe’s EX-DMS (Digital Management System) significantly streamlined inspection and maintenance processes, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.

Our Comp Ex-certified inspectors conducted the initial inspections using the EX DMS platform, installing RFID tags on the inspected assets. This enabled real-time status visibility, automated checklist selection in accordance with IEC 60079 standards, and improved traceability of all maintenance activities.
